Houston, Texas — Nicole Pleshette Ceaser Love, a cherished community member, passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of fifty-four. Known for her unwavering faith, service, and love, she leaves behind a rich legacy that has touched many lives.

Born on July 4, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, to Chester and Janace Ceaser, Nicole was raised in a nurturing family environment with strong connections to her siblings: Derrick Jones, Keishla Ceaser-Jones, Adam Ceaser, and Charlotte Ilupeju. Following her education at Klein Independent School District, she graduated from Klein Forest High School in 1988 and later earned an Associate’s degree from Houston Community College.

In 1991, Nicole married Paul Bernard Love I, and the couple welcomed their son, Paul Bernard Love II. Nicole was deeply involved in her son’s life, guiding him through his education in Houston ISD and Spring ISD, ultimately supporting him on his journey to the United States Air Force Academy where he became an officer.

Nicole had a special relationship with her former mother-in-law, Ms. Reba Love, and played a significant role in her son’s life, including helping plan his wedding to Krysta Brun Love in March 2024. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and cherished her pets, showcasing her caring and familial nature.

In addition to her family roles, Nicole had a fulfilling career as an administrative professional and program coordinator at MD Anderson Cancer Center for 27 years. A breast cancer survivor, she felt a personal connection to the organization’s mission and dedicated her efforts to supporting various charitable causes, including Prevent Blindness and the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk.

Nicole was a devoted member of multiple churches, including New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and Grace Church, and her faith was central to her life. She lived by principles that emphasized love for God and one’s neighbor, earning her a reputation for warmth, compassion, and an innate ability to connect with others.

Her family has invited donations in her memory to MD Anderson Cancer Center. They express gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the doctors, nurses, and staff at Methodist Hospital Medical Center during her final days.

A celebration of Nicole’s life is scheduled for May 23, 2025, at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home in Houston. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a service. Nicole will then be laid to rest at Paradise North Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
