Notice of Infringement – Claim

Title 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) imposes civil penalties—including costs and attorney’s fees—on any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents information in a DMCA notification.

Counter‑Notification – Restoration of Material

If you received a notice that material was removed due to a copyright claim, you may submit a counter‑notification to have the material restored. Your notice must contain, pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):

1. Your physical or electronic signature;
2. A description of the material removed and its original location on the site before removal;
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good‑faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or any district in which we may be found if you are outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original infringement notice; and

Repeat‑Infringer Policy
