His untimely death has left a profound impact on family, friends, and colleagues who mourn the loss of a beloved individual known for his sharp intellect and strong work ethic.

Born on April 18, 1971, Chip was the son of the late Judith Lynn Max and Charles Edward Dyson. He is survived by his son, Mitchell Dyson, and three siblings: Courtney Hilton (Dan), Candace Lyons (Kevin), and Cyndi Amstutz (Steve), along with his step-father, Winton F. Starling (Susan). Chip was deeply devoted to his family, and his greatest joy stemmed from spending quality time with loved ones and caring for everyone who entered his life.

Throughout his life, Chip was known for his thoughtfulness, protective nature, and unwavering loyalty. In addition to his dedication to family, he was an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast, enjoying a variety of activities that allowed him to bond with his loved ones during travel and outdoor adventures.

An accomplished professional, Chip dedicated over thirty years to the information technology field, where he held respected leadership roles at prestigious companies, including Accenture, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Transocean, and Coterra Energy. Colleagues remembered him for his integrity and dedication, traits that made him a trusted figure in the workplace.

Chip’s commitment to service extended beyond his professional life; he served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps. His military experience instilled a sense of discipline, honor, and commitment that guided him in both his personal and professional pursuits.

Chip graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Finance, which laid the foundation for a successful career in information technology. His intelligence and determination propelled him to achieve great milestones throughout his life. Colleagues described him as a mentor who not only inspired others but also fostered a positive work environment through his leadership.

A celebration of Chip’s life is scheduled for August 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the Robb Chapel at The Woodlands Methodist Church, located at 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380. The event will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person, ensuring that friends and family across the country can join in the remembrance of a man who touched so many lives.
