The Houston Independent School District (HISD) will commence its graduation ceremonies starting on June 3, with most events scheduled from June 6 to June 8. The academic year will conclude for students on June 4 and for teachers on June 5. HISD graduates will primarily gather at several locations including Barnett Fieldhouse, Delmar Fieldhouse, and NRG Stadium.
Specialized institutions within HISD will also celebrate their graduates. The Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts will hold its ceremony at Smart Financial Centre, whereas the Energized for STEM Academy will host its event at Dunham Theater.
Meanwhile, Humble Independent School District will conduct six graduation ceremonies over the course of three days, from May 22 to May 24.
