Born on September 6, 1987, Adam was diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and speech impairment at just 1½ years old. He made significant contributions to his community and inspired many through his unwavering spirit and zest for life.

Adam’s early years were shaped by a supportive family. His parents, Manuel and Carmen Vasquez, adapted quickly to communicate with Adam, using body language and visual cues to help bridge the gap created by his speech challenges. Throughout his educational journey, Adam distinguished himself with his sociable nature.
