Founded by Christian and Sofi Reyes, this coffee shop aims to provide a family-friendly atmosphere where people can relax and connect. Active Coffee Shop showcases local musicians and artists and offers classes, including yoga. It operates daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is located at 5416 East 4th Street in Katy.
Blacksmith Coffee recently opened a second location in Memorial City, enhancing its footprint in the area. Located in the lobby of Two Memorial City Plaza, this venue serves a variety of coffee, espresso, lattes, teas, and baked goods, catering to busy professionals looking for breakfast and grab-and-go lunch options. The shop is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 820 Gessner Road.
In a unique blend of plant retail and coffee culture, Eden Plant Co. unveiled its expansion into Post Houston in December. This coffee shop features live music events and allows patrons to purchase plants while enjoying their beverages. The new location welcomes guests from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday, and until 10 p.m. from Thursday through Saturday.
Opened on September 21, 2024, Elements Coffee aims to provide a productive remote working environment in the East End. Featuring spacious tables, the coffee shop is open from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends. It is located at 3008 McKinney Street.

Launched in December in Midtown, Sneaks Coffee and Lounge combines coffee culture with streetwear and ’90s hip hop influences. During the night, the lounge transforms into a “Sneakeasy.” It operates from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
